The Orton-Gillingham Associate Level Class is a comprehensive, nine-month class. The class advances an attendee's understanding of the specific procedures of the Orton-Gillingham Approach and the underlying principles in teaching reading, spelling, and vocabulary to students. Teachers learn how to instruct struggling readers in ways that unlock the code of reading and spelling.

The Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator class focuses on the principles and fundamentals of the Orton-Gillingham Approach. This class will provide an understanding of dyslexia, characteristics of the diagnosed dyslexic learner as well as those learners who struggle to read without a diagnosis, specific procedures for teaching these students primarily in reading and spelling, and administration of informal assessments.
