Dr. Margie B. Gillis, Ed.D., CALT TSS/ReadSource Lecture; Oral Language: The Core and Heart of Reading and Writing Proficiency

On April 4, 2023, The Schenck School and ReadSource co-hosted an informative presentation with Dr. Margie Gillis Ed.D., CALT, a literacy expert with more than 40 years of experience and founder and president of Literacy How, Inc. In this presentation, Dr. Gillis presents research on structured literacy instruction, an approach that provides explicit instruction and myriad opportunities to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing.
